Senior Management Team

Dr Rutger Zietsma

CEO and founder

Rutger founded the company that created the NeuroMotor Pen (NMP).

While working with a small consulting firm, Rutger developed ideas to utilise neuroscience from his earlier PhD research to create novel, easily implementable clinical tools.

Manus Neurodynamica was founded as a channel to realise those ideas.

Rutger instigated and led the EU project, DiPAR, which delivered the initial product development and clinical validation.

Prior to his PhD, Rutger gained experience in biomedical engineering (J&J Cordis Europe, Philips DAP and Medical systems) and project management for the Dutch healthcare sector (Cap Gemini). He also has post-graduate degrees in Bioengineering and Business administration.

Dr David Bramwell

CTO and co-founder

David guides and oversees technical and operational activities and is heavily involved in technical and product development.

David graduated in Microelectronics and Software Engineering where a collaborative project sparked his interest in neural systems.

He then studied for his PhD researching human perception of colours. Postdoctoral research in the human neural dynamics of combined sensory stimuli followed, before David joined Nonlinear Dynamics Ltd. where he led development culminating in the release of the flagship Progenesis product line and several patents. Nonlinear Dynamics, and the Progenesis line was sold to Water Corporation.

Nonlinear developed an AI solution promising a step change in hypothesis free proteomics. Biosignatures spun that IP out, with David as CEO/CTO, and the goal to use the new technology to discover novel blood biomarker panels for urological cancers.

Biosignatures was created to generate the high quality clinical data to feed into the AI. This involved management of key clinical study interactions such as IRB approval, blood sample collection and the cold chain processes leading to high quality lab analysis and biomarker panel generation.
